In the name of Allah ﷻ, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, and peace and blessings upon His final Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ, and upon his Family and Companions.

TheUlama.com was launched in 2022 with the intention of directing Muslims across the globe to authentic Islamic rulings (Fatawa), articles and media. In an age of many challenges, it is no secret that online content can be confusing, unverified or even misleading. It is therefore imperative that accurate guidance is obtained from credible sources.

With assistance from a group of classically trained scholars from a range of institutes in the UK and abroad, such as Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyyah (Darul Uloom Bury), Jamiatul Ilm Wal Huda (Darul Uloom Blackburn) and Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (South Africa), we pray that this united effort is a means of alleviating some of the challenges above. Our aim is to create and develop online content concentrating on relevant, well-written and academically sound material within the framework of the Hanafi school of thought. Where possible, an ethos reflecting the lives, works and prowess of pious predecessors from the Indian Subcontinent and beyond will be adopted and endorsed.
