Can a woman remove stray hair around the eyebrows? Question: Is it permissible for a woman to remove stray hairs around her eyebrows (underneath near eye lid and above near the forehead) to tidy her appearance without changing any part of the natural shape? Answer: In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. It is impermissible to shape the eyebrows. However, it is permissible to remove the stray hair to make them appear normal.
