Closing eyes during salah Question: What is the ruling of closing your eyes during Salaah?   Answer: In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Under normal circumstances, it is disliked for one to close their eyes whilst performing salah. However, if one is able to achieve higher levels of concentration by doing so or there is another valid necessity, it will be permissible.
